リワークプログラムの「調理実習」の有用性に関する論文が掲載されました

精神科デイケアのリワークプログラムで行っている調理実習プログラムについて、帝京平成大学の野口律奈先生と共に調査した結果、一般的業務遂行能力の改善に対する効果が示唆されたとして、日本調理科学会誌に論文が掲載されました。

復職が困難なのは、業務遂行能力の低下が原因

市ヶ谷ひもろぎクリニック・精神科デイケアのリワークプログラムでは、調理実習のプログラムを行っています。この度、帝京平成大学の野口律奈先生と共に、延べ250名の当院リワーク患者を対象とした調査において、精神科リワークにおける「調理実習プログラム」は、調理特有のスキルに限らず、一般的業務遂行能力の改善に対する効果が示唆されたとして、日本調理科学会誌(J.Cookery Sci.Jpn)Vol.53, No.6, 378-386, 2020に論文が掲載されました。

Excerpt from the abstract: In addition to the increase in the number of patients with depression, the number of patients who have difficulty returning to work with conventional treatment (rest and drugs) is increasing. “Depressive symptom” has been considered as the cause, but in recent years, a decrease in cognitive function (business performance), which is indispensable for returning to work, has been attracting attention as the cause. Therefore, there is a growing movement for rework (reinstatement support) that adds the concept of vocational rehabilitation to conventional treatment. We verified the usefulness of “cooking training” as a rework program using the “Kirkpatrick 4-step model” and explored the characteristics of the program by qualitative analysis. As a result, it was suggested that “cooking training” is not limited to cooking-specific skills, but is effective in improving general work performance. It was also confirmed that participation in cooking at home and knowledge and interest in nutrition and food increased. Furthermore, it was suggested that the effect of “cooking training” is a program that can be implemented for a wide range of subjects regardless of age or gender.
